Bushman Dreyfus is proud to be one of three Charlottesville firms and one of 25 Virginia firms to have taken on the 2030 Architecture Challenge. As a result, it is important that our work reflects a commitment towards being carbon-neutral. We have worked on several projects seeking LEED certification, with guidance from our 3 LEED accredited designers. Even projects that do not pursue LEED are designed to hold true to as many LEED standards as seem feasible.

In addition to our work being ecologically friendly, our office also strives towards sustainable living. Over 20% of employees bike or walk to work. Over 75% of employees live within five miles of the office. Our office cleaning products are organic or Cradle2Crade as available. Our office paper, cardboard, glass and plastic are all recycled locally. As a firm, we try to abide by the same principles that we ask our clients to abide by.
