The 1906 Lodge in Coronado, California has been recognized in the Historic Preservation category by the San Diego Architectural Foundation, as part of its award program recognizing outstanding architecture and urban design throughout the San Diego region.

The jury said: "This Irving Gill and William Hebbard designed boarding house has been brought back to life as a 17 room boutique hotel. The jury was pleased to see this commitment to preservation, showing how past and present can co‐exist."

Jeff Dreyfus said: “Maintaining the Lodge’s original character has been our group’s biggest challenge. The technical interventions were extraordinary on this project and it is a considerable honor to be recognized for our preservation work in this way.”
